Apple steals the idea Sync Wi-Fi to a student?

A few days ago Apple has presented the main news on iOS5, the new version of the operating system dedicated to IPHON, IPAD, and IPOD TOUCH which will syncronize your device wirelessly to your Mac or PC through a Wifi connection shared. It's a good idea but that may be of Greg Hughes, english student and developer responsible for the development of Wi-fi app called Sync.

Hughes sent the application to Apple for approval and then be put on AppStore. But the approval was rejected.
Steve Rea, Apple engineers, phoned directly to young developer to compliment the effort and the creation. "Wi-fi Sync", however, was not publishable in the AppStore because of unspecified security reasons. So Hughes decided to make it available to Cydia. Until now has been downloaded 50000 times at a price of 9.99$.

At the time of the features of iOS5, the developer said he was surprised at the inclusion of "Wi-fi Sync", app with the same features of its creation, and even with the same logo.

Hughes decided to go through by law, and is willing to get to the bottom of this story, because he thinks that Apple drawn freely from his work and wants to protect its intellectual property. Apple had stolen the name of the app,  his features, and his logo. Not comment yet from Apple on this matter.
