June 2011 - Browser Comparison
Internet Explorer now collects 44% versus 29% of Mozilla Firefox and 20% of Google Chrome. International Data collected from Royal Pingdom emerge further expressions of the current state of the Browser War.
For Microsoft, the dominant version of the browser is IE8. Version 6 fatigue to disappear, version 7 is confirmed, version 9 struggling to establish itself. In Mozilla, Firefox 4 will be imposed immediately, but versions 3.5 and 3.6 still occupy significant market share. For Google, the ways to update promotes the use of the latest version, which leads Chrome 11 to the summit of the statistics.
Safari takes just under 4% with version 5.0, and Opera is stopped at 1,3% with the release of 11.1.
