Wipro: Azim Premji promises tablet low cost

Azim Premji, Indian's tycoon and Wipro's number one, has promises to still be working to launch, on the market, tablet at the price very low, 25 . A very difficoult goal to reach.
The Indian Company want to maintain a medium-high standard of quality, to compete ,with low prices, the monsters of this growning sector, like Samsung and Apple.

The team of engineers at Wipro, who is working on this project, managed to get so far a minimal cost of 60  which must be added the costs of marketing.

Of course it's even harder to want to keep costs low to compete with the Ipad or Galaxy Tab, this is why Wipro has started to collaborate with the Belgian IMEC, which deals with nanotechnology, to be able to re-enter the threshold of the promised money without removing the quality.

As the operating system that "will mount" the tablet, does not known anything. But almost certainly will rely to Android. Being an open-source platform, will not any additional licensing costs to device.

Hoping that the promises are kept, waiting anxiously Premji new news.
